Erotigo’s privacy policy reflects our deep commitment to your privacy rights. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we want the user to fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Therefore, we will not release any personally identifiable information about our members and visitors without their permission. However, Erotigo reserves the right to release current or past personal information in the event that Erotigo believes that the service is being or has been used in violation of the Terms and Conditions of Service or to commit unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed or if Erotigo is sold or acquired.

Information Gathered

To create the best personal experience on Erotigo, we collect anonymous information (via IP address and an opt-in e-mail address) that enables us to analyze and improve the user experience.

• YOUR IP ADDRESS

  Your IP address is used to gather broad demographic information from log files. Log files are used to track and monitor traffic patterns throughout the Erotigo site for maintenance purposes. These logs are not used to track or monitor personally identifiable information.

  We use cookies to save your password (so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site) only if you have given us permission on the sign in page. Erotigo minimizes the use of cookies to only those necessary to properly route its users.

• OPT-IN-EMAIL

  When you create a User ID and password to sign up for Erotigo, you must provide your email address. We will use your email address only to communicate with you regarding important changes to Erotigo products and services and to continually improve our customer service. You will also be given an opportunity to opt-in for additional correspondence, such as the Erotigo email newsletter, and information about Erotigo partners that provide relevant service and product information. We will not share your email address with third parties without your express permission.

• DOWNLOADS

  During the installation process and subsequent synchronizations, Erotigo notes the kind of PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) operating system that you have and the amount of free memory available on your system to ensure that your handheld device is supported and that you have enough room for Erotigo’s services. Additionally, we use a temporary session cookie that is active only during your registration process to monitor the download process so that you can easily complete Erotigo installation. This temporary session cookie is not stored on your computer and/or PDA once you leave our Web site. Unless you provide it to us during the registration process, Erotigo does not collect any other information about your PDA device, the other applications you use, or the data on your device outside of the Erotigo host of services.

  In order to provide you with the most relevant content and advertising, when you synchronize your PDA device and update the Erotigo services, we note the sections of Erotigo that you have viewed and the ads that you have clicked on and attach this information to an anonymous user profile which is in no way linked to your email address. This allows Erotigo to provide you with better information and more relevant advertising based on where you spend your time and the types of information that you may need. We use this data in the aggregate to provide our content partners and advertisers with demographic details about our users. Erotigo does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

• UPDATES

  We encourage your feedback. If you submit reviews of businesses or events, or tell us about places that have closed down or new places that have opened, that information becomes the property of Erotigo and may be used for any purpose. We may publish that information in future versions of the Erotiguide, on our Web site, or in other media, to enhance our product and service offerings in a way that will enhance the experience of all users.

  Keep in mind that while Erotigo encourages all third parties involved—including, but not limited to, its affiliates and advertisers—to adhere to our policies regarding the privacy of our visitors and members and to otherwise handle personal information in a responsible manner, we cannot and do not assume any responsibility for any actions or omissions of third parties, including the manner in which they use information.

If you change your email address and want to be sure to be notified of new features, updates, and enhancements to the Erotigo host of services, send an email to contact@erotigo.com. If you would like to have your personally identifiable information removed from Erotigo's database, please contact us at contact@erotigo.com, and we will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request. Please be advised that some information is automatically stored in backup copies of our databases that will be accessed only in case of emergency. Such backups cannot be edited, so there may be residual information that will remain within Erotigo’s databases, access logs, and other records, which may or may not contain such personally identifiable information. The residual information will not be used for commercial purposes.

It is not currently possible for an Erotigo user to correct and update their personally identifiable information directly on our website. However, we are developing this capability and hope to have it available to our users in the near future.

Outside Links

Erotigo contains links to other sites. Users will be taken to a separate site if they click on one of these links. Erotigo is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims liability for, the privacy policy and content contained on any linked sites. We encourage all users to review the privacy policy of any site that they visit.

Minors Excluded

Erotigo’s services are not available to persons under the age of 18, or 21 in the states of AL, MS, NE and WY. We encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate and monitor the interactive activities of their children.

What happens if Erotigo changes this Privacy Policy?

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post a link to those changes on our homepage so our users will always be made aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated in the privacy policy at the time it was collected, we would notify users by way of email correspondence. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
